If you have been an effective witness for Christ, God never forgets your work and labour of love that you have shown towards His name in ministering to others Heb. Never mind. At least two are forthcoming in the closing chapters of Genesis: the first on a microcosmic level and the second on a larger, macrocosmic level. One day, God will make it up to you.

But God — hallelujah! Every day of sorrow is written in His book. Cathe is right. Every tear is in His bottle. What will happen after I die?

Does God care about us at all? What do you think went through the minds of those disciples who carried the blood-soaked body of Stephen for his burial? Psalm nkjv My wife, Cathe, and I often joke that between the two of us, we have one complete brain. The author mentioned they had good conversations but I was never privy to what they were talking about due to the non-existent dialogue. We are in His hands, always visible to Him. There was no commitment talk either.

On the other hand, we live in the moment. He is not here, but has risen. We forget to thank Him for all blessings. Cathe is right. God knows your feelings. God did not forget the first coming of His Son, and He will certainly not forget His second coming.

The past is present and the future is past. He's out of our plans. They would not have been reckoning on the purposes of God had they asked such questions.

Greg Laurie Daily Devotions Challenging readings for personal growth. He resides in Southern California with his wife, Cathe. In order to help us remember Him, our Lord has provided us with abundant means to remember Him. He was kinda sweet but he was also bland and I just needed so much more.

As a side note. Their malevolence can in no way be lessened by the knowledge that things did not turn out as they might have done. The past is present and the future is past.

She remembers things that I forget.

Don't Forget God

I really disliked all the crying and sobbing, the sadness and apologies…OMG…it was just too much and I lost count how many times someone had to cry, felt sad or was sorry in this story.

Whatever you have lost, He will give you something greater in its place. Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: 12 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; 13 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; 14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the Lord thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; 15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; 16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; 17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

What will happen after I die? It has always pleased the Lord for people to remember Him. Plus, there was a general lack of depth that couldn't be made up with all the drama that happened in the second half of the story.

WHEN WE FORGET THAT GOD NEVER FORGETS

It was either too boring or too melodramatic and took too many turns into Sapsville. The crux of the matter is when you publish a novel with plenty 2 cry-me-a-river stars.

Moreover, the Lord has given us Himself in the person and work of Jesus Christ. But God — praise God! Read: Isaiah A mother can never forget the child she bore.

But we can be assured that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever Heb.

Rock and Roll Never Forgets

All of life is a continuum to Him. But now we have forgotten God.Jehovah never forgets his worshippers who stray from the fold. On the contrary, he reaches out to them —often doing so through their fellow believers. Consider, for example, how Jehovah helped his servant Job, who experienced a number of calamities —including financial setbacks, the loss of loved ones, and a severe health problem.

Job also endured hurtful words from those who should have. May 21,  · Corrie ten Boom was one of the most godly, soul-rich individuals I’ve ever read words from. Her deep wisdom came with the cost of journeying. Aug 08,  · God brought good out of evil. In the words of the Westminster Confession, God in His providence “upholds, directs, disposes and governs all creatures, actions and things” to bring about a sovereignly pre-determined plan ().

This, God had accomplished through a variety of actions. Jan 02,  · Question: "Does God really forget our sins?

How could an omniscient God forget anything?" Answer: There are several passages in the Bible that indicate that God forgives and forgets our sin.

Isaiah says, “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”. Not one word of God's good promises has ever failed, not before the time of Joshua nor after. In the King James Version, Isaiah says, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I.
